For overlay mattresses, you can buy Comfor™ PUR Incontinence cover or Soft-Cell™ waterproof cover with a fabric surface like SILK or you can choose to use the overlay mattress with your own regular cotton sheet.

I have several physically chronic diagnoses, which means that sitting, lying down and finding rest has not been a good experience. I woke up several times at night due to pain, and likewise I could not sit or lie on the couch “painlessly”. After I got my SAFE Med Overlay Mattress Yellow-Pink, my night and everyday life has become different. I’m not waking up any more at night due to pain. I am not stiff in the body as before when I get up. I tried to take the mattress on the couch, and here I experienced the same good effect. . It supports from neck to foot, which means that sitting and lying on the couch is now a pleasure and I can get the rest I need. A kind of new everyday life may sound drastic, but that is actually what I am experiencing at the moment.

I had the opportunity to try out SAFE Med overlay mattress Pink-Grey at Sano and have now been using it for 2 weeks. It has made a big difference, sleep has become much better, the pain from disc herniation and osteoarthritis is much less and to live with, and then the mattress has not provoked the spondylosis challenges that have often been expressed after resting on other mattresses of cold foam or latex.

We are a family of four who all have pressure-distributing overlay mattresses from SAFE Med. We have purchased three firm no. 102 Pink-Grey and 1 soft-medium no. 101YP Yellow-Pink. The reason we bought from them was that we had heard well about these mattresses, and because we have minor back injuries, leg cramps during the night, and stiffness in joints after each nights sleep. These problems have become much better after we got SAFE Med overlay mattresses. We are extremely pleased with them. We have also recommended to others to buy the mattresses, and there is a family that we know who has also bought them. They are made of some special foam and the foam keeps the carrying capacity and shape. The advantage is also that they can be washed, which many other overlay mattresses cannot. Linda is a wheelchair user and is now lying on no. 201YP SAFE Med Fullbody mattress Yellow-Pink. She has expressed great satisfaction with the mattress for her elevation bed. The pressure distribution makes it possible for her to lie on her side without problems and she no longer needs to take painkillers. The mattress is at the same time easy to move on with the mobility Linda has to be self-reliant. The Soft-Cell cover on the mattress works well with its breathability and elasticity to follow the mattress and its formability in use.
She says she has been looking for and trying out several mattresses, but none that worked. Now with Yellow-Pink Fullbody mattress I can move from bed to wheelchair and get dressed in bed, and it is easy to move on. I had to pay for the mattress myself, as the municipality would not grant it. I now sleep without taking painkillers. I suffer from osteoarthritis in my lower back and a scoliosis in my back after 35 years in a wheelchair. I can only give my best recommendation.
